Counting your visits
We count visits to our sites to see how Helm is used. The daily identifier behind a visit is now made with a random key that is destroyed at the end of each day, so afterwards it can't be rebuilt from your IP address and browser, by us or anyone. If you'd rather not be counted, switch it off. The choice covers usehelm.host and its sites, including the docs, the partner portal, Helm AI and the dashboard at dashboard.usehelm.host, in this browser. It doesn't reach a dashboard on a business's own domain, though Global Privacy Control works there too.

It lasts while you keep visiting. Some browsers may forget it after a week without a visit, and clearing cookies removes it.
What a visit record holds
A visit record holds the page address, the site that sent you, the time, your country, device and browser, a random identifier for your browser tab, and a daily identifier. It holds no IP address and no account. A page address can still point to a business or a record: a dashboard on a business's own domain includes that domain, and dashboard and partner-portal addresses can include the reference of what's being viewed.
