Helm Partners

Introduce a business to Helm. Get paid when they become a client.

You know businesses that need a proper website and a way to keep it up to date. Helm builds and runs that for them. If you introduce one of those businesses to us and they sign up, you earn commission — on the build, and on what they pay each month for a set period. You do the introduction. Helm does everything else.

What a Helm Partner is

A Helm Partner is an independent person or business who has signed a Partner Agreement with Helm, introduces prospective clients to Helm, and is paid commission on introductions that become paying customers. A Partner is not an employee, agent, or representative of Helm. A Partner cannot negotiate, quote, discount, commit to timelines, or sign anything on Helm's behalf. Partners work non-exclusively, and Helm may work with any client directly or via any other partner.

That is the definition in the agreement you would sign. It is here in full, in the same words, so you know what you are signing up to before you apply.

How it works

1
You introduce someone
A business owner you know needs a website, or has one nobody can update. You tell them about Helm and pass their details on.
2
You register them in your portal
You add the business to your own client tracker. That is what records the introduction as yours, so there is never an argument later about who brought whom.
3
Helm does the rest
Helm quotes, prices and agrees timelines. You never have to. We handle the conversation, the build and the support from there.
4
You get paid when they become a client
When the business becomes a paying client you earn commission on the build, and a share of what they pay each month for a set period. Your own rates are written into your agreement.

What you get

  • Your own link and QR code to share — anyone who arrives through it is recorded as yours.
  • A client tracker that keeps your claim on each introduction while it is in progress.
  • Earnings you can see to the day, broken down by client and by month.
  • Payouts in your own currency, on a regular run, once a balance clears.

What Helm asks of you

  • Only say things about Helm that are true. If you are not sure, ask us first.
  • No spam. No bulk messaging, no buying lists, no posting your link where it is not wanted.
  • Don't present yourself as Helm. You are independent, and the brand is not yours to use as if it were.
  • Leave quotes, prices and timelines to Helm. Every one of those comes from us, not from you.

Helm issues all quotes, all pricing and all timelines. That is not a formality — it is the line between introducing a business and speaking for a company you do not work for.

Questions people ask

Do I need to be a developer?
No. Most partners are not. What matters is that you know business owners and they trust you.
Do I have to be exclusive?
No. You can work with whoever you like, and Helm works with clients directly and through other partners too. It runs both ways.
When do I get paid?
Commission is held for a short period after a client pays — that is there so a refund or a chargeback does not have to be taken back off you later. Once it clears, it goes out on a regular payout run, in your own currency.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There is no fee to apply and no fee to be a partner.
What happens after I apply?
Someone from Helm reads it and gets back to you by email. If it is a fit we set up your account and send you an agreement to read and sign. Applying does not create an account on its own.
